Northeastern University’s Matthews Arena is a historic gem and an essential part of the campus, known as the oldest multi-purpose athletic building still in use. Originally built in 1910, it has been home to numerous memorable events, including the first home game of the Boston Bruins. Today, it serves as a vibrant venue for Northeastern’s athletic teams and community events, blending a rich legacy with the spirit of Husky pride.
